Liew Wui Chern is a researcher at the Centre for International Studies (CIS), University of Tunku Abdul Rahman. His research interests are in comparative politics, ASEAN studies, and US foreign policy. He is also a lecturer at the Department of Mass Communication specialising in Malaysian politics, its foreign policy, and photojournalism.
