Li Wenlong is the chief economist of International Intelligent Data Pte. Ltd. and president of Pan-Asia Research Institute of Digital Economy. He was previously a deputy director at the People's Bank of China and economist with the International Monetary Fund, and a senior economist with the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO).

Singapore's prominent role in China's trade strategy

After taking a hit in early 2020 due to the pandemic, Singapore-China trade quickly rebounded and looks set to be in healthy territory in 2021.
