Professor and Acting Head, Division of Public Policy, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology

Naubahar Sharif is Professor and Acting Head of the Division of Public Policy at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). His research interests include technology and innovation policy in Hong Kong and within the Greater Bay Area of Southern China; the Belt and Road Initiative; and mental health and wellbeing in Hong Kong. In 2011 he completed the Executive Education program in Innovation for Economic Development at Harvard University. He has had numerous articles published in leading journals, consulted for Hong Kong’s Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC), and contributed articles to local newspapers. He has also been featured in local print media and television.
