Dr Zeno Leoni is a lecturer in the Defence Studies Department of King’s College London, based within the Joint Services and Staff College (JSCSC) of the Defence Academy of the UK. He is also an affiliate to the Lau China Institute of King's College London, where he is co-convenor of the same institute’s policy brief series named "China in the World". His research interests include imperialism, empires, geopolitics; crisis of the Liberal International Order; US-China relations; UK-China relations; US grand strategy; and China’s grand strategy.

UK-China policy under Liz Truss likely to align with US outlook

While the UK’s China policy would largely be business as usual with new Conservative Prime Minister Liz Truss at the helm, China may be in for a tougher time where it counts as the UK finds a renewed opportunity to influence European partners to work in concert with the US against China.
