Chan Chun Sing

Minister for Trade and Industry and Minister-in-charge of the Public Service, Republic of Singapore

Chan Chun Sing is Minister for Trade and Industry, responsible for driving Singapore's economic and industrial development. He is also Minister-in-charge of the Public Service and the Deputy Chairman of the People's Association. Mr Chan was Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and also served as Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, upon relinquishing his prior appointments as Minister for Social and Family Development (MSF) and Second Minister for Defence.

Connecting the world: Role of China and Singapore

Minister for Trade and Industry Chan Chun Sing spoke on the digital economy, China's connectivity, and the role of China and Singapore in this moment in history, at the Singapore-China Forum which was held in Shanghai on 6 November 2019.
