Sarah Kreps is the John L. Wetherill Professor of Government and Law, and Director of the Tech Policy Institute at Cornell University. She is also a non-resident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. Her teaching and research focus on the intersection of international politics, technology, and national security. Her most recent books include Social Media and International Relations (2020) and Taxing Wars: The American Way of War Finance and the Decline of Democracy (2018), and her work has also appeared in a number of academic journals such as the American Political Science Review, World Politics, Journal of Politics, and International Security.
