Looi Chee Kit is Research Chair Professor of the Learning Sciences and Associate Dean of the Graduate School at the Education University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR. He is also Emeritus Professor of Education at the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He was the founding Head of the Learning Sciences Lab, the first research centre devoted to the study of the sciences of learning in the Asia-Pacific region. He is a Fellow of the International Society of the Learning Sciences and of the Asia-Pacific Society on Computers in Education. He is a founding member of the Global Chinese Society of Computers in Education, and served as the President of the Global Chinese Society of Computers in Education from 2017 to 2019.
