Chan Heng Chee

Professor Chan Heng Chee is an ambassador-at-large with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Among various other appointments, she is also chairman of the Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities at the Singapore University of Technology and Design and chairman of the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies-Yusof Ishak Institute. Previously, she was Singapore's ambassador to the US (1996-2012) and Singapore's permanent representative to the UN (1989-1991) with concurrent accreditation as high commissioner to Canada and ambassador to Mexico.
