Chau Do is a research associate at the Centre for International Law at the National University of Singapore. She holds an LLB from Hanoi Law University and an LLM with Specialisation in International Law from The Australian National University. Chau has interned at private law firms in Vietnam, the National Assembly of Vietnam and the Hanoi office of the Permanent Court of Arbitration. Her research interests focus on the law of the sea, with particular attention to maritime security challenges, the implications of emerging technologies, and the governance of renewable and alternative energy at sea. She is especially interested in how international law can address evolving maritime disputes and security risks, while also promoting cooperation and stability in contested maritime spaces.
