Chieh-Yi Cheng

Chieh-Yi CHENG is an award-winning Taiwan journalist in Italy and contributes to The Reporter (Taiwan), News&Market (Taiwan) and Initium (Singapore). She earned her PhD in sociology from the Sapienza University of Rome. She writes about Italian politics, society, environment, agriculture and Vatican issues. In 2022, she translated the book China's Influence and the Center-periphery Tug of War in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Indo-Pacific (Routledge).
