Dr. Ivan Lidarev is a research fellow at the Institute of South Asian Studies, National University of Singapore, specialising in China-India relations, Asian security and EU-Asia relations. He obtained his PhD from King’s College London and has also studied at Elliott School of International Affairs, George Washington University, Fudan University and Bard College. Lidarev boasts substantial think tank experience, having held fellowships at institutions such as India’s Observer Research Foundation, Institute of International Relations (Prague), and LSE IDEAS, at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He also served as an advisor at Bulgaria’s National Assembly (2014-2017), graduate teaching assistant at the Defence Academy of the UK (2018-2019), and associate features editor of E-International Relations (2015-2016).
