Li Xiaodong

Li Xiaodong holds a PhD from the Institute of International Relations, Yunnan University. He was formerly a visiting scholar at the East Asian Institute, National University of Singapore. His research focuses on China’s neighbourhood diplomacy, deterrence theory and the Taiwan issue. He has published scholarly work on the US’s extended deterrence strategy, with particular emphasis on its relevance to the Taiwan question. His research combines theoretical exploration with policy-oriented analysis, contributing to the study of strategic stability and regional security in East Asia.
