Dr. Nobuhiko Tamaki is a professor in the Faculty of Law at Chuo University, Japan, and a visiting researcher at the University of Tokyo. He is the author of When the Empire Yields: Politics of Reward and Coercion in American Asymmetric Alliances (Iwanami Shoten, 2024; in Japanese). His research interests include alliance politics and international relations in the Asia-Pacific.
