Phoon Wing Keong

Phoon Wing Keong is the chairperson of the Huayan Policy Institute. He is also the CEO of a private group foundation and has previously served as an assistant professor and director of the General Studies Center at Southern University College, Malaysia. He holds a master’s degree from National Chengchi University in Taiwan and a doctorate from the School of International Relations and Public Affairs at Fudan University in Shanghai. His research interests focus on Malaysia’s political development, education policy and the politics of China.
