Qiaolei Jiang

Qiaolei Jiang is an associate professor at the School of Journalism and Communication at Tsinghua University, China. She obtained her PhD in Communication Studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on the role of information and communication technologies in society across cultural, political, and economic dynamics. Specifically, she works in the area of human-media interactions, through which human behaviours are shaped and expressed at individual, group and societal levels, especially at the intersection of digital innovation and the social transformation of the world.
