Momma Rira

Professor, Institute of World Studies, Takushoku University

Momma Rira is a professor at the Institute of World Studies at Takushoku University. He was previously the director of the Regional Studies Department at the National Institute for Defense Studies. He earned his MA in area studies from Tsukuba University, majoring in Chinese-Taiwanese relations, Chinese and Taiwanese political and military affairs, and the history of the People’s Liberation Army. He has offered comments on Chinese-Taiwanese relations and military trends in newspapers and on TV.
