Tadashi Kimiya

Tadashi Kimiya is Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo. His areas of expertise include South Korean politics and diplomacy. He graduated from the University of Tokyo, where he majored in political science, in 1983, and received his doctorate in comparative politics and Korean politics from Korea University Graduate School in 1992. He also completed doctoral studies at the Graduate School of Law and Politics at the University of Tokyo in 1993. His publications include Kokusai seiji no naka no Kankoku gendaishi (South Korea’s modern history in international politics) and Nikkan Kankeishi (History of Japan-South Korea relations).
