Chang Chun-Yen
Professor and Chair, Department of Southeast Asian Studies, National Chi Nan UniversityChang Chun-Yen is professor and chair of the Department of Southeast Asian Studies at National Chi Nan University, Taiwan. His research interests include Southeast Asian communication, journalism studies in Taiwan, journalist safety, communication research on cross-strait issues, digital platform governance and news media policy. He currently serves on the Radio and Television Program and Advertising Advisory Committee of Taiwan’s National Communications Commission (NCC) and the Self-Regulation Advisory Committee of Chinese Television System (CTS). His academic work combines international comparative perspectives with extensive knowledge of Taiwan’s media practices and policy environment, and he has been actively engaged in research and public discussions on contemporary media and communication issues.
