Dek Joe Sum
Economist, ASEAN +3 Macroeconomic Research OfficeDek Joe Sum is an ASEAN +3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) economist. Before joining AMRO, he served as a macroeconomic advisor at the Asian Development Bank and provided technical assistance on developing macro-fiscal frameworks to the Department of Treasury of Papua New Guinea. Earlier in his career, Sum was an associate lecturer at the Australian National University (ANU). Sum holds a master’s degree in international and development economics and a bachelor’s degree in economics from ANU.
