Toru Ito
Professor, National Defense AcademyToru Ito is a professor with the National Defense Academy. He graduated from Chuo University and finished his doctoral course in political science at Chuo University, specialising in South Asian international politics centered on Indian foreign policy. He previously served as a researcher at the Embassy of Japan in New Delhi, associate professor at the Shimane University, before assuming his present post. His publications include Shinko taikoku Indo no kodogenri (The Principles of Indian Diplomacy) and Indo no Shotai (The true nature of India).
