Yang Jinlin

Political commentator/columnist; Founder, Yang Jin Lin New Media
Yang Jinlin is the Founder and Chairman of Yang Jin Lin New Media Holdings Limited, and manages the Zhejiang Jin Lin Charity Foundation. He is a renowned current affairs commentator and columnist. Born in 1953 in Fujian, Yang Jinlin held the position of Adjunct Research Fellow at Taiwan Research Institute of Xiamen University (TWRI-XMU). After relocating to Hong Kong in 1988, he worked in many publishing firms as a journalist before becoming chief editor. He wrote numerous commentaries and columns for renowned newspapers and magazines including Asiaweek, Ming Pao, Lianhe Zaobao, Hong Kong Economic Journal, China Times, and Sin Chew Daily.
